Second Shift is an organization for career moms including moms seeking re-entry into the work-force and the employers who employ them.
- The organization sponsors live educational events featuring distinguished guest speakers on work/life topics relevant to all career moms.
- We also offer business and community networking events to further career moms' business contacts and opportunities.
- Through our interactive website we enable women to connect professionally and personally across our organization.

Strategic executive placement by matching talented professional career moms with employers who understand the economics of employing women on a flexible basis;

Assisting employers to be “working mom friendly” for the purpose of improving retention, enhancing professional development, and providing mentoring among business women in the employer’s organization. Second Shift builds and initiates internal educational and networking networks for women with children within companies. Second Shift will administer an internal survey to measure the corporate climate for a career mom’s network. After the survey is completed, employers will be provided with leadership and content to establish their own internal “Second Shift,” based on the results of the survey.
